MEANING: More that what is needed

 

FORM

TOO + ADJECTIVE

I was too ill (adj) to go to the party..

TOO + ADVERBS

He was driving too fast (adv) so the police stopped him.

Enough

MEANING: Sufficient.

 

LLAVE

ADJECTIVE + ENOUGH

He isn't old (adj) enough to go to clubs..

ADVERB + ENOUGH

We're not studying hard (adv) enough.

ENOUGH + NOUN

We have enough money (noun) to buy this car..

Too and enough indicate degree. "Too" means more than what is needed. "Enough" means sufficient.

Too much/ Too many

We also use the expression "too many" and "too much" with nouns

There is too much sugar in this tea (Uncountable)

There are too many passengers on the bus. (Countable)
